Job Summary
Assists patients with ADLs; takes vital signs, performs treatments/procedures, and documents; transfers patients; maintains infection control; participates in hourly rounding; supports RN in assessments and care; handles supplies, records, and equipment; adheres to safety protocols and uses PPE; requires standing/walking most of shift and ability to lift up to 300 lbs with assistance; English proficiency; shift rotations including day/evening/night; on-site at Nantucket Cottage Hospital (Mass General Brigham) per diem role.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS/CPR certification required within one week of hire (AHA & ARC accepted)
- Completion of IS 100 and decontamination training
- Completion of Sitter training
