Patient Care Tech - Emergency Department - Nights

Provide direct, age-appropriate patient care under the direction of the RN or licensed practitioner in the Emergency Department during night shifts (three 12-hour shifts weekly with every other weekend). Perform essential duties including monitoring patient conditions, updating the health care team, obtaining and recording admissions data and vital signs, assisting with specimens collection as needed, maintaining a safe and clean environment, stocking supplies and equipment, and ensuring adherence to nursing and hospital policies. Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development appropriate to patient age ranges (neonates to geriatrics), assist with feeding, hygiene, mobility, and daily living activities, and participate in mandatory trainings. Must be able to communicate effectively with patients, families, and health care team, wear PPE as required, and handle high-stress and high-priority situations. Physical requirements include lifting, range of motion, and ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced hospital setting.
