Job Summary
Patient Care Technician II responsible for direct patient care activities under licensed nurse supervision, including monitoring for abnormal findings, escalating changes in patient condition, and assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs). Provides support for elimination, hygiene, comfort, safety, nutrition, mobility, and documentation, while delivering patient- and family-centered care. Contributes to safe, efficient, and compassionate care by recording vital signs, performing charting, preparing laboratory specimens, and supporting orientation and ongoing education. Requires ability to lift up to 50 lbs, BLS certification, and at least one year of acute care or rehab experience; location at Memorial Hermann-The Woodlands.
Required Qualifications
- One year of prior patient care experience (e.g., Certified Nursing Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, or Patient Care Technician)
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by American Heart Association within 90 days of employment
