Job Summary
Assist patients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and dignity throughout their stay. Safely guide individuals through admission, transfer, and discharge processes while observing physical, mental, and emotional changes to alert the nursing team immediately. Accurately document patient interactions and vital information in official health records to ensure seamless care continuity. Sanitize patient rooms, organize supplies, and verify that medical equipment is clean, fully stocked, and ready for immediate use. Work full-time nights in the Stepdown Intermediate Care department at Mercy Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted
- Nurse Aide credentialed from the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Certified Nursing Assistant credentialed from the state of Wisconsin
- Nurse Aide Registry with eligibility to work in a hospital setting
- High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience
