Job Summary
Provide nursing assistance and patient care to ensure the comfort, safety, and personal needs of patients in acute pulmonary settings. Assist patients with activities of daily living and perform procedures for physical hygiene and comfort. Operate within a unit-based, self-directed patient care team, sharing tasks with licensed and non-licensed members. Requires one year of patient care experience as a CNA, PCT, Military Medic, ED Tech, or other relevant acute, direct patient care experience. Holds required certifications including American Heart Association Basic Life Support, Certified Nursing Assistant on the Georgia Registry, or Certified Medical Assistant. Schedule is 7a-7p.
Required Qualifications
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Certified Nursing Assistant on the Georgia Registry
- Certified Medical Assistant awarded by the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
- Registered Medical Assistant awarded by the American Medical Technologists (AMT)
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant awarded by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
- One (1) year of patient care experience, as a CNA, PCT, Military Medic, ED Tech or other relevant acute, direct patient care experience
