Patient Care Specialist

Entry-level Patient Care Specialist responsible for assisting patients with fitting and usage of medical equipment, explaining proper usage, processing equipment orders, maintaining accurate patient records, ensuring sanitation of equipment, and providing courteous support to address inquiries and resolve complaints. The role requires basic troubleshooting for equipment issues, adherence to safety and office procedures, and collaboration with the team to schedule appointments. Desired skills include strong communication, service orientation, proficiency with Office Suite and EMR data entry, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare office. The position requires COF certification (or obtaining COF within 12 months) and product knowledge of DME. Work environment is an office setting with local travel as needed; full-time schedule Monday through Friday with possible additional hours. Supervisory responsibilities: none.
