Job Summary
Ensure and provide patient care while serving as a responsible clinical expert, educator, and resource who facilitates staff professional development and evidence-based quality care. Collaborate with unit leadership to maintain competent staff performance, promote quality outcomes, and meet regulatory guidelines. Disseminate relevant information from committees and monthly meetings to ensure adoption of current practices. Assist in maintaining a safe work environment, develop evidence-based policies, and mentor nurse residents on EBP projects. Demonstrate commitment to quality and safety by fostering compliance with regulatory requirements, utilizing evidence-based practice, and acting as an effective liaison to staff within the department and network.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing
- 3 years of recent experience in a clinical practice with demonstrated leadership/teaching abilities
- Knowledge and competence that reflects current nursing practice
- Ability to identify clinical problems and review related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions/quality care interventions
- Basic knowledge of evidence-based practice
- Basic computer skills
- BLS - Basic Life Support AHA - American Heart Association
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - American Heart Association
- RN - Licensed Registered Nurse
- PA - State of Pennsylvania
