Patient/Care Scheduling Specialist

Job Summary
Responsible for welcoming clients post-admission, coordinating care, and serving as a liaison among Admissions, Billing, Utilization Review, Outreach and Clinical to ensure a positive client experience. Manages scheduling and rescheduling, verifies insurance benefits and financial enrollments, supports treatment coordination, communicates aftercare resources to families, and documents interactions accurately. Requires strong written and verbal communication, HIPAA knowledge, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, emotional intelligence, and experience with Salesforce/CRM platforms; remote, full-time role.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in a customer/patient success or support role
- 1-2 years of Salesforce experience (or equivalent CRM platform)
- 1-2 years of experience using contact center technology
- 1-2 years of experience with customer financial discussions (Health insurance experience and knowledge of medical billing practices a strong plus)
- Strong multitasking in fast-paced environments
- Emotional intelligence
- Knowledge of HIPAA policies and procedures
- English proficiency (native or bilingual) and work authorization in the United States
- Proficiency with cloud-based communication and software (Slack, G-suite, Microsoft Office, Zoom & EMR)
