Job Summary
Greet patients, instruct them on the Phreesia pad, and enter demographic and insurance data into Allscripts. Scan financial paperwork, obtain referrals, and check patients out while scheduling follow-up appointments and tests. Complete order forms, call patients to reschedule, and manage daily administrative tasks including mailing reminders, scanning, and distributing faxes in the EMR. Assist Medical Assistants with workload as time permits and adhere to HIPAA policies. Perform other duties as assigned, such as cross-training for patient check-in/out.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- One year of front desk experience in medical practice
- One year of customer service experience
