Job Summary
Greet patients warmly, handle incoming calls, and manage check-ins and check-outs to ensure seamless clinic operations. Coordinate appointment scheduling and confirmations, verify insurance eligibility, and collect co-pays with precision. Utilize the Electronic Health Record system to maintain accurate patient records, obtain referrals, and manage prior authorizations. Support continuity of care through confirmation calls and patient recalls. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, proficiency in computer systems, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Some travel between Monmouth County locations may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail
- Proficiency in using computer systems and electronic health records
- High School Diploma
- Flexibility is key, with occasional availability required on Saturdays and evenings
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in a medical office or customer service role preferred
- Ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance processes, and scheduling procedures is a plus
- Bilingual Preferred
