Job Summary
Lead clinical practice standards and operational workflows within the Emergency Department. Manage, mentor, and evaluate a team of nursing professionals to ensure high engagement and retention. Drive goal-oriented outcomes related to patient satisfaction, safety protocols, and budgetary compliance. Act as a key liaison between executive leadership and clinical staff to streamline communication. Foster a culture of safety while ensuring departmental goals align with the highest standards of the ED environment. This role requires a BSN, active NJ RN license, and 1–3 years of relevant clinical practice, including Emergency Department experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Active, unrestricted New Jersey Registered Nurse (RN) License
- 1–3 years of relevant clinical practice, specifically with Emergency Department (ED) experience
- BLS required upon hire
- ACLS required within 6 months of start date
- Exceptional organizational skills
- A proven track record of clear, professional communication
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or a related field
- 2+ years of management or supervisory experience in a clinical setting
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) designation
- A high level of initiative with a demonstrated ability to lead teams through organizational change
