Job Summary
Provide clinical operations oversight for the medical and psychiatric inpatient unit (11North), ensuring delivery of safe, high-quality, and efficient patient care. Serve as a transformational leader through shared governance, mentor/supervise staff, manage staffing/scheduling and resources, develop and monitor budgets, pursue process improvements to enhance patient experience and outcomes, and partner with senior leadership to drive strategic initiatives and organizational excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nursing or related field
- Current New York State RN license
- At least 3 years of RN experience in Psychiatric Nursing
- Demonstrated leadership competencies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and quality improvement practices
- American Nurses Credentialing Center approved national board Certification (preferred)
