Patient Care Coordinator

Job Summary
Coordinate patient care from consultation through post-operative follow-up; present treatment plans to patients; discuss insurance coverage, out-of-pocket costs, and financing options; support surgeon scheduling and ensure availability of surgical equipment and supplies; verify authorizations and referrals, coordinate medical clearances, and collaborate with insurance companies and hospitals to ensure seamless care; act as primary contact between patients, referring offices, surgeons, dental laboratories, hospitals, and internal teams; maintain patient records using practice management software and Microsoft Office; comply with OSHA, HIPAA, and company policies; travel with the assigned surgeon to practice locations as needed; requires exceptional communication, strong customer service, multitasking, and ability to work independently with clinicians and teams; full-time, Monday through Friday, with hours varying based on surgeon schedules and patient needs.
Required Qualifications
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) and practice management software
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with surgeons and team members
