Job Summary
Coordinate patient care in an orthopedics/neuro unit as a BSN-educated RN; delegate to staff, ensure quality patient care, participate in unit and shift meetings, and provide direct patient care as needed to meet staffing needs. Drive patient throughput, service recovery, and discharge planning; advance nursing practice through education, evidence-based guidelines, and collaboration with nursing and interdisciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications
- BSN- Required upon hire for external candidates.
- 3 years Nursing/Patient Care - Required
- 1 year Area of practice or related specialty - Preferred
- Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board in state of practice
- Unit Specific Certifications - Franciscan Alliance Required if required by unit
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
