Job Summary
Patient Care Coordinator responsible for receptionist and clerical support in Outpatient Rehabilitation Services, including obtaining patient demographics and insurance verification, explaining hospital forms and policies, obtaining signatures, discussing financial responsibilities, collecting payments, initiating the proper episode of care, processing required information per departmental policies, and performing filing, typing, and telephone duties. Must work effectively in a rapid-paced environment with frequent interruptions and be accountable for timely, accurate information. Experience with Electronic Medical Records is preferred.
