Job Summary
Hearing Care Coordinator supports clinical staff to deliver quality patient care by scheduling appointments, verifying insurance details, collecting forms and maintaining patient files, processing payments, and assisting with inventory and facility requests in a Newton Center clinic. Primary responsibilities include greeting patients, making outbound follow-up calls for tests and evaluations, confirming appointments, completing benefit checks, providing first-level patient support, assisting with repairs under supervision, submitting reports, handling orders and payments, maintaining equipment, coordinating event logistics, and performing general office duties. Requires high school diploma or equivalent; associates degree preferred. Experience in healthcare and with hearing aids is a plus; strong communication, HIPAA knowledge, and proficiency with Microsoft Office/Outlook are valued.
Required Qualifications

- Prior experience/knowledge with hearing aids is a plus
- 2+ years in a health care environment is preferred
- Previous customer service experience is required
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
