Patient Care Coordinator / Medical Assistant - PCC/MA

Patient Care Coordinator / Medical Assistant combines administrative and clinical responsibilities to support front office coordination, patient intake, scheduling, rooming, vitals, and provider support at the Brandon clinic, with potential coverage at nearby locations. Responsibilities include greeting and check-in, completing intake and medical history, scheduling appointments, maintaining patient flow, rooming patients and obtaining vital signs, assisting providers during exams, preparing exam rooms and equipment, maintaining medical supplies, keeping accurate patient records in the EHR, coordinating with Case Management, ensuring HIPAA compliance, supporting billing through proper documentation and charge entry, and maintaining an organized workspace. Requirements include Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–7:00 PM schedule, high school diploma or equivalent, Medical Assistant certification, phlebotomy experience, 1–3 years of healthcare experience preferred, strong communication/organization/multitasking skills, ability to travel בין clinic locations, Spanish speaking preferred, and Florida AHCA background screening.
