Patient Care Coordinator

Job Summary
Provide patient-facing front desk and call-center support as the first point of contact for patients in a fast-paced oral surgery practice. Greet visitors, register patients, manage scheduling and waitlists, handle billing and receipts for self-pay charges, and maintain accurate patient records including demographics, insurance, HIPAA forms, and financial waivers. Coordinate with the team to address issues, communicate effectively with patients and staff, perform clerical duties, and provide flexible coverage across multiple office locations. Requires excellent phone etiquette, strong customer service skills, proficiency with electronic medical systems, and the ability to prioritize workloads in a dynamic healthcare environment. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required
- A.S. Degree in healthcare/related field preferred
- 1+ year of dental administration experience highly preferred
- Comprehensive knowledge of electronic medical systems
- Adeptness in the healthcare industry

- Ability to prioritize workload
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced environments
