Job Summary
Greet patients, visitors, and relay messages while managing check-in/check-out functions and booking appointments. Oversee clinic cleanliness, inventory, and safety standards, ensuring treatment rooms are properly set up. Schedule patient reminders, verify insurance, collect payments, and enter procedure codes into the EMR. Meet patients on their first visit to complete necessary paperwork and maintain strict confidentiality per company guidelines. Conduct end-of-day procedures and perform other office support tasks as assigned. This role requires proficiency with Microsoft Word and EMR systems, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a busy environment.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 0-2 years of previous experience in a medical office, customer service, or other related business
- Current CPR Certificate
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with a wide variety of people
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to follow directions
- Proficient with Microsoft word
- Strong data entry skills with EMR systems
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a very busy environment
- Consistent and regular use of phone
- Must be able to keep numbers in correct order on a very consistent and regular basis
- Regular and consistent use of keyboard and mouse
- Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Consistent sitting for many hours at one time
