Job Summary
Patient Care Coordinators support tele-optometry exams using state-of-the-art optical and telemedicine equipment, including scheduling eye exam appointments, obtaining patient history, and assisting in exam workflows. Responsibilities include greeting patients, identifying vision needs, promoting eye exam availability, facilitating interaction between patients, technicians, and doctors via live video, matching eyewear solutions to patient needs, and helping drive sales and performance metrics while maintaining HIPAA-compliant, safe, and positive patient experiences. The role requires collaboration with optical team members, attention to detail, and comfort with healthcare technology; starting pay is $18.50/hour with full-time availability.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or college degree
- Experience delivering outstanding customer service in a retail, optical, or medical environment
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of optical products and business practices preferred
- Open shift availability for full-time positions
- At least 18 years of age
