Job Summary
Front Office Dental Administrative role serving as the first point of contact for patients. Responsibilities include greeting patients, scheduling appointments with Open Dental, answering multiple phone lines, maintaining patient records, processing billing and insurance verification, collaborating with staff, handling patient inquiries and complaints, and providing exceptional customer service to support the practice workflow. Requires Open Dental experience, strong multitasking and communication skills, and a professional front-office presence.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Front Office Administrator in a dental practice environment
- Experience in using Open Dental software and managing multiple phone lines
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to interact positively with patients and team members
- High school diploma required; further education in Administrative duties will be considered an advantage
- Understanding of basic bookkeeping and billing procedures
- Comprehensive knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and supporting patient care
