Job Summary
Patient Care Coordinator at Dr. David Shier Dentistry in Mississauga — Welcome patients and build trusting relationships from their first visit, clearly explain treatment plans and next steps, review costs and insurance coverage, coordinate appointments for timely care, verify benefits and assist with claims processing, maintain accurate patient records, follow up with patients, and act as a bridge between patients and the clinical team to ensure a caring, informed journey.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of dental administration experience required
- Experience discussing treatment plans and financial arrangements
- Knowledge of dental billing, insurance, and scheduling procedures
- Abeldent experience is considered a strong asset
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and highly dependable
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment
