Job Summary

Greet and assist patients, coordinate patient flow and appointment needs, and obtain, verify, and document patient information accurately in the electronic health record. Support imaging workflows by preparing patients, answering questions, and directing them appropriately, while maintaining confidentiality and complying with HIPAA standards. Assist with general office duties, including scheduling, documentation, and record management, using clear, professional language to communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members. This role requires a high school diploma or GED, one year of medical experience, and preferred certification as a Medical Assistant or Nursing Assistant.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Working knowledge of medical terminology
  • Ability to manage confidential patient information responsibly

Desired Qualifications

  • Graduation from a Medical Assistant, Nursing Assistant, or Medical/Secretarial program
  • One year of medical experience in a physician office, hospital, or similar healthcare setting
  • Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant (certified or non‐certified)
  • Knowledge of healthcare workflows, medical terminology, and outpatient operations
  • Experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems
  • Strong communication skills with proper grammar and professional tone
  • Customer‐service mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Organized

  • Comfortable working in a medical setting with frequent interaction across clinical and administrative teams
  • Demonstrate knowledge of medical terminology and imaging‐related processes
