Patient Care Coordinator

Job Summary
Greet patients and staff at the clinic entrance, then schedule new referrals received via fax or telephone while verifying insurance coverage and collecting payments. Convert referrals into evaluations, manage the clinic schedule efficiently, and oversee document routing and non-clinical documentation. Monitor clinic inventory, manage personal overtime, and handle deposits to collect all money due at the time of service. Make all welcome calls and create an inviting atmosphere to influence patient arrival rates. Attend required training with Territory Field Trainers and complete quarterly compliance training. Work full-time Monday through Friday with a minimum of 40 hours per week, occasionally attending special events in the evenings or on weekends.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Communication skills – must be able to relate well to Business Office and Field leadership
- Ability to multitask
- Organizational detail

- Ability to interchange with standing as needed
- Ability to hear and speak to accurately exchange information

- Occasionally walks, stands, pushes or pulls 0-20 lbs.

- Carries, pushes, and pulls 0-20 lbs.
- May be required to attend special events some evenings and weekends, or work additional hours as needed
