Job Summary
Welcome patients and manage office schedules by confirming and following up on appointments. Handle incoming and outgoing calls to proactively schedule needed appointments and keep the provider's schedule productive. Support the Hearing Care Professional with daily office needs, maintain accurate patient documentation, and process payments. Manage office inventory and assist with local marketing and patient outreach while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Maintain a professional, welcoming environment through strong organizational skills and customer service. Full-time role starting at $16.00 per hour with benefits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Confidence speaking with patients both in person and over the phone
- Comfortable making outbound calls and following up with patients
- Comfortable learning and working with multiple computer programs and office systems
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities and manage a busy schedule
- Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and as part of a team
- Positive, professional attitude and a genuine desire to help people
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, medical/clinical office, front desk, scheduling, or office administration
- Experience with Microsoft Office and other computer-based office systems
- Hearing healthcare experience
