Job Summary
Patient Care Coordinator providing high-quality care and attention to patients and referring offices; acts as primary contact for referring doctors; assists patients in all phases of care, answers questions about treatment, collects payment deposits prior to surgery, verifies insurance, schedules surgical appointments, and handles inbound calls when needed. Responsibilities include following up on missed or unscheduled treatment, coordinating doctor meetings, maintaining patient charts, and backing up other staff. Requires strong customer service, communication, and Microsoft Office skills, along with a professional demeanor and on-site availability Monday–Friday. Located in Purcellville, VA.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Understanding of dental and medical insurance
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Professional voice inflection and eye contact
- Professional attire, appearance, and phone etiquette
- Proficient in basic math and accounting
