Job Summary
Manage and schedule patient appointments to ensure optimal use of provider time and resources. Act as a liaison between patients and healthcare providers, addressing questions regarding treatment plans. Prepare patient packets for doctors prior to the date of service, check patients in and out, and maintain accurate records by updating the EHR. Assist patients with understanding medical insurance benefits and billing processes. The role involves occasional travel to other locations. Compensation varies based on qualifications and experience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Experience in a healthcare setting
- Knowledge of medical insurance processes and patient billing
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Teams)
- Travel 1-2 times a week to our other locations
- E-Verify authorization to work in the United States
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in patient care coordination or a similar role
- Familiarity with No Fault and Workers Compensation Insurance
- Experience using Criterions EHR
- Prior Orthopedics Experience
