Job Summary
Monitor all patient communication channels during coverage hours, responding to every message within 5 minutes. Assess inquiry urgency and handle routine requests independently, including scheduling and information queries. Escalate urgent medical concerns to the on-call physician and document all interactions for the daytime team. Maintain detailed logs of escalations and after-hours activity. Requires full-time exclusivity with no other employment, ensuring 100% availability and rested focus during shifts. Comprehensive training and clear escalation protocols are provided.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a high-touch environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven reliability and dependability
- Ability to remain calm and professional in urgent situations
- Strong judgment for assessing urgency and making escalation decisions
- Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace for remote work
- Comfortable working weekends & holidays
- This must be your only employment
- Fully rested, alert, and dedicated exclusively to this role during coverage hours
- 5-minute response time to all patient messages
- 100% availability during scheduled coverage hours
- Accurate triage and appropriate escalation of urgent matters
