Patient Care Asst - LTRU

Provide approved care for assigned patients and assist in implementing interventions under RN supervision. Supervise patients with activities of daily living and developmentally appropriate activities while using crisis control techniques for de-escalation. Respond to communication system alarms with urgency, answer telephones per etiquette, and assemble charts or stock supplies as needed. Complete timely documentation of patient status and changes in shift summaries. Ensure work areas remain organized, safe, and accessible for patients, families, and employees while complying with infection control policies.
