Job Summary
Greet patients professionally in person and on the phone, managing check-in and check-out processes while answering inquiries and referring issues. Optimize provider schedules, notify staff of arrivals, and verify financial records by collecting charges and expediting third-party claims. Retrieve and update patient records, maintain office inventory, and anticipate supply needs. Provide excellent customer service and obtain authorizations and eligibility information. Perform assigned rotating duties within the clinic as needed. Travel to other locations as required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Travel required to other locations, as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of electronic medical records software
- Experience in healthcare
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish
