Job Summary
Greet patients professionally in person and on the phone, answer or refer questions, and optimize provider schedules to ensure efficient check-ins and check-outs. Notify providers of arrivals, retrieve and update patient records, and verify financial records while collecting charges and expediting third-party claims. Maintain office inventory by anticipating supply needs and expediting orders. Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. This role supports Vision Innovation Partners' mission to protect and restore vision, offering opportunities for growth within a team centered on shared values.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written
- Knowledge of MS Office
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of electronic medical records software
- Experience in healthcare
- Bi-lingual English/Spanish
