Job Summary
Provides direct patient care for a designated group of patients, including phlebotomy, EKG, obtaining specimens and cultures, activities of daily living, simple wound dressings and vital signs; assists with admission and discharge processes; communicates observations to the health care team; maintains a safe, therapeutic environment; responds to patient requests; performs phlebotomy, telemetry and electrocardiograms as directed; uses clinical knowledge in patient management; collaborates with nurses and staff to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent, required
- Proficiency in performing EKG and Phlebotomy, required
- Minimum one (1) year of direct patient care experience, required
