Job Summary
Promote patient hygiene and mobility, measure and record vitals, and respond to patient and family needs. Assist physicians and nurses during routine procedures, prepare hospital rooms, and change bed linens. Reposition patients, deliver meals, assist with feeding, dressing, toileting, and bathing, while listening to concerns and reporting observations to registered nurses.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for caring and supporting others
Desired Qualifications
- Patient care experience (preferred, not required)
- Medical terminology knowledge (a helpful plus)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (can be earned after hire)
