Patient Care Associate I (Nights)

Patient Care Associate I (Nights) provides direct patient care in the Observation Unit under the direction of the Professional Nurse. Responsibilities include assisting patients with daily living tasks (dressing, bathing, feeding, toileting), vitals, catheter care, answering call lights, ambulation, turning, and ensuring patient safety. May perform technical duties such as obtaining 12-lead EKG, setting up respiratory equipment, glucometer monitoring, bladder catheterization, and transcribing orders when indicated. Works full-time nights with weekends and holidays as required; on-site location in Sewickley, PA.
