Patient Care Associate I (Med/Surg) - Day/Evening

Provide direct patient care appropriate to age, culture, and developmental needs under the direction of the Professional Nurse. Assist patients with daily living tasks including dressing, bathing, feeding, toileting, vital signs, catheter care, answering call lights, ambulation, turning, and ensuring safety. Perform technical skills such as obtaining 12 lead EKG, setting up respiratory equipment, glucometer monitoring, bladder catheterization, and transcribing orders when indicated. Work full-time nights, 8 and 12-hour shifts, every other weekend, and holidays as required. Complete applicable clearances within 90 days of commencing employment.
