Patient Care Associate (Albany, NY) for a 1099 Independent Contractor role delivering and setting up TWO2 wound-therapy equipment, providing patient education, and coordinating with the Wound Care Consultant and Virtual Therapy Clinical Support team. Responsibilities include equipment delivery/set-up/pick-up, education, monitoring therapy data, ensuring equipment readiness, maintaining stock, documenting wound progress, and providing prompt, professional service. Requires 2+ years in healthcare/homecare/medical equipment delivery, valid driver’s license and auto insurance, ability to travel within the territory, strong communication skills, and flexible hours with some weekend opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant experience in healthcare, homecare, medical equipment delivery or a similar field
- Valid driver’s license and required auto insurance
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned territory using a personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Proactive in monitoring patient engagement and addressing issues
- Teamwork and collaboration to achieve common goals
- Flexibility to work extended hours including some weekends
