Job Summary
Patient Care Associate (PCA) at Newton-Wellesley Hospital (Mass General Brigham). Under the supervision of an RN, the PCA provides clinical support to promote safe, compassionate patient care in an interdisciplinary team. Requires CNA/PCT/MA/EMT certification or commensurate experience; nursing students may be hired as PCAs with preferred BSN/direct-entry MSN enrollment. Onsite, 40-hour weekly night shift. Required Qualifications
- Certification as CNA, PCT, MA, EMT or commensurate experience
- Under direction of a registered/licensed nurse (RN), assist in clinical support functions
- NWH Patient Care Associate Training Program or nursing student with clinical rotation/simulation acceptable
- Nursing students preferred for BSN or direct-entry Masters programs
