Job Summary
The Clinical Assistant provides clinical patient care support under the supervision and delegation of the Registered Nurse, delivering patient-centered care in collaboration with patients and families. Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, monitoring patient condition, providing nutritional support, performing delegated nursing skills within scope of practice for unlicensed personnel, documenting and communicating skill performance to the RN, handling unit tasks such as admissions, discharges, mobility, hygiene, and equipment use, and participating in safety, quality, and compliance activities. Requires High School Diploma or GED and BLS; SRNA preferred. Shift is rotating in Louisville, KY.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent (required)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) (required)
- State Registered Nurse Aide (SRNA) by the Kentucky Board of Nursing (preferred)
- Experience in healthcare setting (preferred)
