Job Summary
Patient Care Assistant in the Surgical ICU at Brigham and Women's Hospital (Mass General Brigham). Provides support under licensed personnel, assisting with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, eating), measuring and documenting vital signs, and aiding with basic hygiene, positioning, and transfers. Maintains medical records documentation, communicates health concerns to nurses, and delivers compassionate patient-centered care in a 36-hour weekly night shift role. Eligible new hires may receive a $750 sign-on bonus. Preferred education includes High School Diploma or Equivalent; Basic Life Support (BLS) and Nursing/Medical Assistant certifications are preferred. Demonstrates strong patient service, medical terminology knowledge, and proficiency with electronic medical records.
