Job Summary
Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care under the direction of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team. Maintain a safe environment and support the Registered Nurse in managing patient needs within the 8W Medical Specialty Unit at Saint Joseph Medical Center. Current Phlebotomy and EKG certifications are preferred, while CNA state approval is required. Full-time night shifts run from 7 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. The company offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), State approved Certification
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire
- Current EKG certification upon hire
- Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current
- Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office
