Job Summary
Nursing Assistant assists patients with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse; performs functions within those of unlicensed nursing personnel and supports activities of daily living, providing basic nursing care, and maintaining a safe, clean environment. This role aligns with CNA/PCA/PCT responsibilities and is suitable for those with CNA experience seeking aPatientCareAssistant opportunity. Key skills include multitasking under pressure, communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary team, safety and patient/family centered care. Orientation includes BLS certification prior to first day. Must be 18+ with high school diploma/GED preferred; part-time schedule includes 8-hour day/evening shifts and every-other-weekend/holiday commitments across Mayo Clinic locations. Salary range $20.98-$29.19 per hour (annualized to $43,638-$60,715).
