Patient Care Assistant - PCA

Job Summary
Provide compassionate in-home patient care to seniors in Richardson and the North Dallas area, including medication reminders, ambulation/mobility assistance, personal care and hygiene, meal planning with client input, light housekeeping, shopping or accompanying clients, transportation, and a supportive companionship role. Opportunity for growth with advanced training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care as part of a Richardson Visiting Angels team serving Addison, Carrollton, Farmers Branch, The Colony, Rockwall, Mesquite, Forney, and surrounding communities.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Drivers License
- Minimum 2 Years Experience
- Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid
- Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
- Respectful and compassionate
- Good time management skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong ethics
- Physical endurance
