Job Summary
Patient Care Assistant - PCA at Visiting Angels Kansas City provides compassionate in-home support to seniors and others in need across the Kansas City Metro region. Responsibilities include assisting with medication management, ambulation and mobility, personal care and hygiene, routine exercises, meal planning and preparation with client input, shopping assistance, light housekeeping, providing companionship, reporting incidents, and responding quickly in emergencies. The role emphasizes caregiving for elderly and home-care contexts, with opportunities for growth through training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care. The position supports a broad range of shifts (8, 10, 12 hours) including PRN options and offers benefits such as health, dental, vision insurance, PPE, holiday pay, referral bonuses, direct deposit, weekly pay, and a sign-on bonus.
