Job Summary
Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care under the direction of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team and/or unit. Maintain a safe environment for all patients while holding current Illinois CNA certification, Phlebotomy certification, and EKG certification upon hire. Maintain current BLS (AHA) certification within 30 days of hire and possess knowledge of medical terminology. Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office is preferred. Full-time night shifts (7p-7a) with rotating holidays are required.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Illinois approved Certification
- Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current
- Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology
Desired Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire
- Current EKG certification upon hire
- Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office
