Job Summary
Provide direct nursing support on the Medical Surgical Unit at Good Shepherd Hospital, assisting with patient care tasks and monitoring acuities. Maintain a full-time schedule of 36 hours during day shifts, rotating between 3-12 hour shifts every other weekend. Ensure all patients receive compassionate, patient-centered care aligned with the hospital's core values of respect, competence, and joy.
Required Qualifications
- Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Patient Care Technician (PCT) in the state of practice
- 6 months experience as a nursing assistant or Patient Care Assistant
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- COVID-19 vaccine or an approved medical or religious exemption
Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year nursing assistant or Patient Care Assistant experience
