Job Summary
Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care under the direction of the Registered Nurse in charge. Maintain a safe environment while performing duties in the Cardiac Neuro-Acute Tele department at St. Francis Hospital. Requires Illinois-approved CNA certification, current BLS within 30 days, and preferred phlebotomy or EKG certifications. Full-time days shifts (3-12 hours, 7a-7p) with rotating holidays. Competitive pay range of $18.00 to $26.68 plus comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and tuition reimbursement.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Illinois approved Certification
- Current BLS (AHA) within 30 days of hire and maintain current
- Possesses knowledge of Medical Terminology
Desired Qualifications
- Current Phlebotomy certification upon hire
- Current EKG certification upon hire
- Minimum six months previous experience in an acute care hospital or physician's office
