Job Summary
Assist with routine and specialized patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse (RN). Duties include collecting and documenting patient/family data, obtaining and noting vital signs, collaborating with the RN to provide high-quality, cost-effective care, prioritizing workload based on patient/family needs, contributing to the development and ongoing modification of the plan of care, and maintaining professionalism and teamwork. All successful candidates will undergo respiratory fit testing. Requires a high school diploma or GED plus CNA/MA program certification and around one year of direct patient care experience.
Required Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or GED Required
- Completion of a formal nursing assistant educational program or certification
- Currently enrolled in a BSN degree program with one clinical rotation completed at hire
- One (1) year of direct patient care experience
