Job Summary
Deliver non-clinical and clinical care to adult and pediatric patients as delegated by licensed nurses. Promote positive interactions with staff, physicians, patients, families, and visitors while following established workflows and infection control policies. Demonstrate professionalism by maintaining current AED competencies, adhering to dress code, and participating in new team member orientation. Provide a safe environment for all individuals through proper handwashing and adherence to safety standards. Full-time day shift from 6:00am to 6:00pm. High school diploma or GED preferred; Total Joint Center staff required to complete eight hours of continuing education on hip, knee, shoulder, and spine surgery care.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current AED's competency
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach, lift, see, speak and hear
- Lifting capability of 35 lbs for clinical staff or 50 lbs for non-clinical staff
- Ability to use an assisted-lift device or get assistance for lifts over maximum limits
