Job Summary
Provide assistance and reassurance to patients upon admission and perform general nursing care functions as part of the care team on a specific Care Center. Conduct patient and specimen transport duties while performing general cleaning tasks. Deliver care that reflects an understanding of individual cultural and religious diversities and needs, adhering to patient rights. Execute all related duties for specific job assignments as requested regardless of assigned shift or rooms. Complete NYS CNA training or Fundamentals of Nursing, with a high school diploma required. Salary is $26.71 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of a NYS CNA training class and/or completion of Fundamentals of Nursing in a nursing program preferred
- Minimum 1 year recent experience as nursing assistant preferred
