Job Summary
Provide assistance and reassurance to patients upon admission and perform general nursing care functions on a specific Care Center. Execute technical and clinical tasks based on patient acuity, including phlebotomy services and EKGs according to physician orders. Deliver care that respects individual cultural, religious, and patient rights while maintaining a 90% or higher score on the annual telemetry exam. Requires NYS CNA training or Fundamentals of Nursing completion, one year of nursing assistant experience, and preferred phlebotomy/EKG/BLS program completion. Posted at $29.55/hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Must pass annual telemetry exam with a 90 or above
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of a NYS CNA training class
- Completion of Fundamentals of Nursing in a nursing program
- Minimum 1 year recent experience as nursing assistant
- Completion of program in phlebotomy, EKGs, and BLS
